Here's what truly matters: Playful Adventures: Parks, mountains, rivers - nature is their classroom! Let them explore, climb, and discover. Talk Time: Encourage conversations, storytelling, and singing. Language skills blossom when they chat and create!  ️ Sensory Exploration: Let them touch, smell, see, and hear the world around them.   Education research has proved that encouraging positive behaviours is the best way to discourage negative ones for maintaining classroom management. This approach is not only effective in promoting a respectful and productive learning environment but also instils positive values and encourages students to develop their social and emotional skills. Teachers can adopt the following strategies to encourage positive behaviour in the classrooms: 1) Setting clear expectations 2) Recognize and reward positive behaviour 3) Creating an inclusive learning environment 4) Encouraging the involvement of students 5) Involve parents in reinforcing positive behaviours These tips can create a conducive learning environment that fosters positive behaviour and a harmonious learning experience for all learners.

 T he global teacher shortage is a growing threat to sustainable development. From rural communities to crowded cities, educators are in short supply, resulting in larger class sizes and burnout. Limited funding, low salaries, and high demands have made the profession unsustainable, and over 44 million extra teachers are required by 2030 according to UNESCO. To address this crisis, leaders must invest in teacher training, support programs, and improved working conditions to retain qualified staff. Communities could also play a role through volunteer initiatives or apprenticeship models. It's time to back words with action and prioritize education for a brighter future. The challenges are vast, but together, our ideas and efforts can make a difference. What else can be done locally to attract more teachers and keep classrooms open? Let's work together to ensure that no student misses out on the guidance they deserve.

  I saw an interesting post on LinkedIn about a father raising his 6-year-old with a "winner's mindset." While fostering a positive attitude is great, I wonder if focusing on winning and losing might not be ideal at this age. It's a time for exploration and learning, not competition. Perhaps nurturing a love for the activity itself and celebrating effort would be more beneficial for a balanced and productive child in the long run.

The world is rapidly evolving, and our children are now pioneers in the landscape of technological innovation. Simply relying on traditional classroom education does not fully equip these 21st-century learners for the demands of a dynamic world. This calls for an educational environment that anticipates and prepares them to navigate future challenges. For this transformation to occur, we need a paradigm shift in our teaching and learning approach. The integration of technology should be viewed as a cornerstone in the modern educational process. Schools ought to avail a plethora of technological tools - computers, tablets, interactive boards, and more - to support students in their quest for knowledge. Teachers too, must adapt their teaching methods to incorporate technology within the classroom.
