Solutions for youth problems

School and community have to play a vital role in overcoming the behavioral problems present among our teens in today’s scenario.

School must have a professional educational counselor which is able to get on the root cause of the problems and offer corrective steps.

Problematic teens have to be counseled individually by educational counselor in the school or by family members.

Parents counseling in the field of conditioning of teens like listening to teens ideas and welcome their opinion and if there is a problem with their viewpoints suggest corrective measures what is right or wrong can also be effective.

Teaching the teens about moral and ethical behavior which can be imparted only by giving religious talks and narrating the religious stories based on moral values.

  1. The solutions suggested are really appreciable but the problem with the CURRENT EDUCATION SYSTEM is that it emphasize on the syllabus enhancement rather than the overall devolopment. The educationalists in common terms... teachers are with the aim of the completion of syllabus but the the physical mental and social devolopment of the individual is not payed notice now here we have a arising effort in the INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM that the introduction of CONTINOUS AND COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION SYSTEM introduced by the CBSE I would say is a beginning step towards the change of whole scenario . But it must not be confined to CBSE alone but made compulsary for all other educational branches which i think ' ll surely result in overall devolped student................................RELIGION , I agree must be a part of a daily routine as it emphasize on THE MORAL TEACHINGS...........But what i am worried about is that students often rushing towars marks achievement whereas what i believe is that"DONT RUN AFTER SUCCESS RUSH TOWARDS EXCELLENCE and surely success will touch the feet.....Hope the you as a teacher look into the matter and try your best for the devolopment of a student on overall basis rather than only acaedemics....A YOUTH .......DAWOOD

  2. Dawood you are right in asserting that our eduaction system has a flaw where stressed is on the completion of syllabus and expecting 100% result in terms of academic or scholastic achievement of the students which really belittle the very aim of education.
Infact the parents themselves have become too used to our examination oriented system that they want their wards to do well in exam by securing good marks or grade rather than realising whether their wards have been able to make his foundation strong enough to become a strong young man who can face the challenges of the fast changing world.
CBSE has just introduced the CCE system of assessment which boast of a remarkable transition in Indian School education system. But do remember CBSE is a policy making body execution lies with school and teachers.

  3. well....i am sorry to say that i can't accept the fact that its the school's responsibility to correct the students morally...no doubt the school has a role to play in this...but i believe that its the "HOME or the PARENTS" who have a greater role....drastic changes in behaviour wudn't occur with only school's preachings...things wud change wen steps r taken at the root levet(family).unless & until the parents are corrected and told wat to do...children wudnt change....
Eg: a student lagging behind in studies is suggested to go and meet a school counsellor to know wats his problems and try harder at school...
Case 1---he wud just listen to watevr is sed to him just like a story...go home and repeat his old practices
Case 2---he listens to watever is sed to him...tries to apply it in his life...goes home...the environment isnt suitable for him to study well...like 24 hrs television on...cricket matches being watched by parents...music...blah blah blah...the list goes on...

so in my opinion...i wud sugest counselling at the root level,i.e, the parents...if the parents realize wat to do...then ALLZ WELLLL....!!
